Flooring Products | Cooper Robinson
Quotation and subsequent supply and installation of flooring products is subject to the following standard terms and conditions: -
Works to be carried out during normal working hours in areas free and clear of all other trades and their materials, with reasonable continuity.
We have assumed all existing floor coverings will be removed before works being carried out unless otherwise stated. In the event, such works are to be done by us; we will not take any responsibility for the removal or handling of hazardous materials, eg. Asbestos.
We have assumed the sub-floor is completely level and in a suitable condition to receive floor coverings in accordance with, AS2455.1: 1995, General textile floor covering Installation practise and/ or, AS1884: 1995, Resilient sheet and tiles, laying and maintenance Practises.
No allowance has been made in our offer for moisture testing or levelling of the sub floor.
No allowance has been made for the planing of doors in the event that they will not close if the new carpet is higher than the flooring it is replacing. A qualified carpenter should be engaged to conduct these works where necessary.
No allowance has been made in our offer for removal and replacement of furniture. (Unless otherwise stated)
No allowance has been made in our offer for the removal of quads. (Unless otherwise stated)
Contractors and employees carrying out work on behalf of Cooper Robinson Interiors will take care not to cause damage to the property of others. However, due to the nature of flooring installation work, it is common at times for paint to be damaged on skirting boards, particularly when paint is fresh or only a few weeks old. Cooper Robinson Interiors cannot take any responsibility for damaged paint work caused by installing carpet and floor coverings.
All prices contained in this quotation are valid for a maximum of 14 days or until stocks last.
Orders are subject to stock availability.
Cooper Robinson Interiors warrant the workmanship associated with installation of flooring for a period of 52 weeks from the date of completion of work.
It is a characteristic of all cut pile carpets to suffer from Pile Reversal. This condition is normal and is not a manufacturing or installation fault. Permanent Pile Reversal does not affect the performance and durability of the carpet in any way.
All carpet supplied carries the full manufacturer guarantees unless otherwise stated on the invoice or the product.Some warranties are void unless adequate protection is used under chairs and any other areas where the carpet will be venerable to excessive wear.
In the event that we are to install carpet and there is no electricity available, please make arrangements for electricity to be provided on the days the work is to be carried out. It is the responsibility of the property owner or their representatives to have the necessary utilities available and operating on the day’s works are to be carried out.
All quotations provided by Cooper Robinson Interiors are subject to a non-site check measure and inspection. Cooper Robinson Interiors will only take responsibility for information obtained during an on- site check measure and inspection. Cooper Robinson Interiors will not be made liable for any information supplied by any person who is not an employee or contractor of Cooper Robinson Interiors.
Settlement terms are, payment of materials and installation at least three days before start of works. No allowance has been made for the withholding of retentions.
