Es Bec d'Aguila- Menorca, Spain
When we first saw this newly renovated property, we had a collective GASP. I mean, does it get any better? We doubt it.

Reschio Estate- Umbria-Tuscany, Italy
If you weren't already across it, Umbria is the NEW Tuscany. Reschio Estate is a brand-spankingly NEW addition to the world's list of luxury boutique hotels- it sits (quite literally) over the borders of both spectacular regions. And it has to be seen to be believed.
Perfectly restored, by Count Benedikt Bolza, the 10th-century stone Hotel Castello di Reschio towers above the estate, offering astonishingly beautiful rooms and suites; the attention to detail is simply breathtaking, but that's not the only accommodation.
Choose from one of the nine ancient farmhouses (all with private swimming pools) for your (at this point- pretend!) Italian getaway. While Reschio straddles borders, you'll be straddling seasons; and nothing is better for it than the classic trench coat. A true work-horse in anyone's wardrobe.
